Training & Consulting

Consulting Calls (included in Web Manage and Web Master) are great for live editing, training time, or any other type of strategy sessions. Web Maintain does not include consulting calls; however, they can use their 60 minutes of support time for a consulting call if they wish.

Support Time

With your dedicated support time, you can make requests based on your needs:  performance improvements, content updates, design updates, blog posting – all those small tasks that keep a website ticking along and keep it from stagnating.

For those that need assistance populating their blog and social media, we offer a monthly add-on package exclusively for our clients.

From the content you send us, we will curate 8 social media posts ( one month of content) for Facebook and Twitter. We will pair these updates with the necessary stock images. You will also receive a social media dashboard + monthly report to monitor engagement and strategy.

Does the monthly time rollover?

Like a lawyer’s retainer, the monthly time is there for you every month to reserve your place in our queue and our resources, therefore it does not rollover for Maintain and Manage plans. You can take comfort in the fact that what you will request within that 60 minutes of time will be addressed by our team with immediate attention.

Our Webmaster plans are customized to the client and allow for a time block for that month specific to their needs.

What happens if my website goes down, is hacked, breaks, etc?

The whole purpose of our client plans is preventative care, so we hope to prevent anything from happening. However, in the case your website gets rolled into the ER, we will be there right by it’s side communicating with the web hosting on your behalf. We cannot promise your website will not be hacked but can promise we will do everything in our power to prevent it, as well as assist in the restoration and cleanup of the website with one of our backups.

What tasks are included in the dedicated support time?

Glad you asked! Content update requests and small design improvements are the most common requests, however anything that can fit into your monthly support time is free game. We just ask you to be aware that requests for new features to your website will likely result in a formal quote as those commonly go over the monthly dedicated time.

How do consulting calls work?

Email is our best form of communication since it yields the fastest response. However, we know brainstorming works best on the phone or on a video call. These consulting calls are reserved for our Web Manage and Web Master clients. They help focus a trajectory of the website for growth and improvements. Many times clients use this time to online screen-share small updates or training.

Do I have to create the content for the Social Media Management Package every month? You know your business and customer base best. Therefore we rely on you to send us a variety of content for us to extract from. The content that you send us can be a link, latest news for your company, an article you found interesting, a YouTube video, or another blog post from other sites you want us to monitor. Once we pull out the posts, we will request your approval and schedule them out for the next 30 days.

If you have a task that requires more than your dedicated monthly time, we will submit a quote for you to approve separately from your plan However, many times we will evaluate requests that exceed your time on a case by case basis, and with approval, work past the time and bill for time exceeded at our current support rate of $75/hr.

Can I really cancel anytime?

Absolutely. We are all about a relationship with you and your website, so we would hate to see you go but we know financial needs weigh on many decisions and don’t want to lock anyone in. Request a cancellation via email to, and we will immediately stop the next payment.

My website was not built by SkyBound Tek, can I still be on a client plan?

Although these plans are for sites we build or re-design, we welcome clients who are looking for a long term relationship with a dedicated webmaster.

We first like to do a Website Evaluation to become familiar with the website, how it was built and any potential issues that can arise. With the evaluation we will perform all the “Website Updates and Monitoring” tasks and make a full backup. Most importantly we will make a list of issues to fix and suggestions for improvement needed in order to proceed with the website on a monthly plan. Based on your type of website, this Website Evaluation is a fixed 4-hour fee.

Should I be updating my WordPress and plugins?

Please leave the updating to us. Website maintenance is an integral part of updating and keeping your site working properly. At SkyBound Tek, we take great care to first backup the website, check the website, update, then check the website again for any changes. Our software keeps a record of plugins we update so if there is ever an issue, we can see what plugin version was changed and revert back.

If you just update from your WordPress admin, we wouldn’t have that record. We update client’s site once or twice a month so we can take the time to devote to checking your website thoroughly (either the 15th or the 30th). Also included on our monthly maintenance report are the performance and security scans. If in the event we ever catch a plugin issue, it becomes a support ticket and we address it immediately.
